The Great British Sewing Bee Nominated for BAFTA


Love Productions are thrilled by the news that ‘The Great British Sewing Bee’ has been nominated in the Features category for a BAFTA award. Well done to all of the Sewing Bee team!


Sandi Toksvig set to leave the Bake Off tent


After three years and 51 showstoppers Sandi has announced plans to switch off her kitchen timer and leave the Bake Off tent.

Sandi is leaving the show to focus on other work projects, which include hosting the forthcoming Channel 4 series The Write Offs, which looks at the issue of adult literacy.

“When stepping down from a job it is quite common for people to say they are doing so in order to spend more time with their family. Unusually I am departing from the Great British Bake Off so I can spend more time with my other work," said Sandi.

Wednesday 8th Ocotber- Shortlist for Amnesty's Media Awards 2014 Announced!


The Cruel Cut has been nominated for an Amnesty Media Award in the Documentary category.

Amnesty International has unveiled the shortlist for its prestigious annual Media Awards.

Amnesty's Media Awards, now in its 23rd year, recognises excellence in human rights reporting and acknowledges journalism's significant contribution to the UK public's awareness and understanding of human rights issues. The winners of this year's Awards will be announced at a ceremony at the BFI in central London on Tuesday 11th November.

The Cruel Cut has been nominated in the Current Affairs category and The Great British Bake Off has been nominated twice; Features & Radio Times Audience Awards.

The ceremony will take place on Sunday 18th May.
