Love’s first ever radio documentary programme is to be broadcast on Radio 5 Live on Christmas Eve at 6pm.
The 50 minute programme – split into two 25 minute parts - follows former British tennis champion Annabel Croft on her search for a homeless alcoholic man she met when she was living on the streets of London for ten days while being filmed for the BBC1 hit series Famous Rich and Homeless.
When Annabel met 42 year old Scottish father of two, James, he was drunk and living on the streets. Annabel promised to help him get off the streets by contacting James’s family.
Twelve months on, Annabel has not succeeded in contacting his family after promising to trace them. So, she sets out to find James. Annabel starts her search for him back on the streets of central London, and in hostels. And, after a few days she eventually finds out what’s happened to him.
