Junior Bake Off
Thirty two of the country's best bakers – aged 9 to 12 – take part in the first ever Junior Bake Off.
Over three weeks, their cake making, biscuit baking, pastry and bread making skills are tested to the limit.
In each show they face two challenges - a technical test and an invention bake where they can let their imaginations run wild. From outer space to wild animals and sports to chocolate... No matter what the theme all the bakers must deliver a show-stopping, mouth watering creation.
Four bakers will make it through to the Grand Finals where they’ll be baking for some very special celebrity guests. And as they whisk, stir and bake, we discover how chocolate is made, how to make an exploding volcano cupcake and a werewolf in cake form...
Junior Bake Off is presented by chef Aaron Craze and the challenges are devised and judged by legendary cookery writer and baker Mary Berry and acclaimed Master Baker Paul Hollywood, from BBC2’s Great British Bake Off.
