The Great British Sewing Bee: Series 6

 10 x 60' Wednesday April 22nd 2020

The hunt to find Britain’s best amateur sewer is back, and it’s bigger than ever. In Series 6, 12 passionate amateurs from all walks of life, including a grandmother, a dancing student and a paramedic, are pitting their talents against each other in the sewing room.

Host Joe Lycett welcomes the sewers to an old tannery loft in the heart of Bermondsey, South London. He’s joined by the judges; film costumier and Central St Martin’s lecturer Esme Young and Saville Row tailor Patrick Grant.

The judges have tricky challenges up their sleeves and over ten weeks the sewers tackle difficult tailoring, food shaped fancy dress, 80s cocktail dresses and beautiful outfits for every occasion. Their skills need to stretch from rugby shirts to flamenco skirts…but only one can be crowned winner of The Great British Sewing Bee 2020.
